Craig Carolan is a positive psychology practitioner and positive education trainer. His consultancy, Intrinsic Education, bring the latest in positive education and positive psychology from around the world into the South African and greater African educational spaces. He is an ex-Headmaster having worked in the United Kingdom and South Africa.
Trevor Harbottle, Headmaster
Trevor Harbottle has been the Principal of Hermannsburg School since January 2018. Hermannsburg is the oldest independent co-educational boarding school in Kwa-Zulu Natal, founded in 1856 by German missionaries. Trevor is an avid Positive Education supporter.

A look at how Hermannsburg School used their newly started PosEd programme to support their staff, students and wider community during the lockdown process and during their return to school process. Now 18 weeks in (as of 30th Sept) the benefits of an explicit PosEd approach are significant. This presentation looks at our journey so far.
